corned beef fried rice

this afternoon liz and i cooked corned beef fried rice for lunch! i know that not everyone takes to corned beef, in fact some people find that it looks/taste like dog food but really, HAVE U TRIED DOG FOOD? if you have and it really does taste like dog food then let me know. well it’s not like im a huge fan of corned beef but liz was dying to try it out so being the awesome big sister i am, i compromised and agreed.

cooking up a storm (well, sorta)

we decided to supplement our dinner tonight since the parentals had a business dinner. made a trip to swiss butchery in search of our favourite beef short ribs but they were out ): so we settled for wagyu rump instead. also, cold storage specialty opened at watten! small or perhaps cosy BUT still a cold storage directly in the neighbourhood! now we don’t need to go all the way to 6th ave! =D

pop’s midnight brownie cake!

pop’s birthday today!!! so liz and i baked a brownie cake for him! (from scratch mind you, betty crocker was sooo secondary school valentine day style)

on saturday we celebrated sherman’s birthday. went for dinner at ember where we had a very good time accompanied with very good food =D

banana and coconut pancakes with yoghurt and caramelized bananas
pan fried bacon (WHICH I REFUSED TO TOUCH)
